Floating, stainless steel brake disc. Since the hot disc can expand, the pressure point remains constant even at extreme temperatures and loads. The best basis for consistently quick lap times. You’ll also need brake caliper mounting kit 720.09.960.044 for installation.

ORGANIC BRAKE PADS

• Made from a special material mix with a high proportion of organic substances, therefore softer
• With ceramic underlayer for optimum thermal insulation
• Lower friction coefficient than sintered brake pads, so less aggressive braking feel
• Beneficial when particularly refined responsiveness is desired for ideal brake application

SINTERED BRAKE PADS

• 100% sintered metals
• Very high coefficient of friction for maximum and enduring braking power
• Low "fading" tendency when hot
• Very effective braking in the wet as well
• Very hard and therefore extremely long-lasting
• Particularly beneficial in extreme conditions (e.g. sand, gravel, etc.)

The radial hand brake cylinder with 16mm piston enables better leverage than conventional brake cylinders. The benefit: You need significantly less hand strength, can ride a larger piston and thus be supplied with a much better feeling for applying the brakes. Required for mounting: Brake fluid reservoir 545.13.030.044 and the associated retaining bracket 573.13.001.050.

KTM brake calipers are distinguished by the following features:
